UCD has supported American Eagle Outfitters for more than a decade, providing props and custom displays for visual marketing initiatives. As Aerie prepared to expand a new store design across new locations and remodels nationwide, UCD was selected as a key manufacturing and fulfillment partner. The program required a supplier capable of supporting continued growth at national scale.
Visual Comfort & Co., a premier lighting and home décor brand, was on a mission to accelerate its expansion across North America. With a vision to increase the number of new showrooms from 2 stores per year to 12-15 annually, they needed a partner who could meet the increased demand without compromising on quality or timelines. That’s where Universal Custom Display came in.
American Eagle Outfitters, Inc needed a vendor to manufacture and manage a nationwide rollout for their Back to School program. UCD worked directly with American Eagle to meet their specifications. UCD’s team designed and customized a shadow box along with ornate frames required for the project. This 1.2-million-dollar project is what spurred UCD’s relationship with A&E almost a decade ago.
Target Corporation, the eighth largest retailer in the United States, faced a challenge: how do we keep our stores open, all while keeping customers and employees safe in the midst of the coronavirus global pandemic? Along with social distancing, constant cleaning and masks, plexiglass barriers became an important part of that solution. So important that the UCD team has less than two weeks to design, manufacture, and deliver PPE for every single one of Target’s stores.
